Rocketeer creator Dave Stevens wrote and illustrated stories of his famous character for a number of different publishers. His work became so popular
that Disney bought the property to make a movie back in 1991.
11/11/25
I got a good deal on this mid-grade Iron Man #55, the first appearance of Thanos, on eBay.
11/5/25
I added 3 more comics to the comics pages. The first is Batman Adventures Annual #1, the 3rd appearance of Harley Quinn. The second comic is

written and cover art by John Byrne.

By the early 1980's Marshall Rogers had established himself as a highly talented and very well-received artist in the comic book industry. After his debut in DC's Detective Comics he had another successful run
in Marvel's Doctor Strange with writer Roger Stern. Rogers would illustrate for years in the industry, but it wasn't until the early 2000's when he
would team up again with writer Steve Englehart and continue their Dark Detective storyline for Batman.
11/4/25
I've been wanting this issue for a while now. I had it when it first came out years ago but sold it. Here's the first appearance of Spider-Woman!
On the other hand, I did hold onto this comic, and it's actually worth something now, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends #1! I also found
Marvel Fanfare #1 that included a Spider-Man storyline and Spider-Man 2099 #1!
11/3/25
In the late 1990's Marvel Comics teamed up with Paramount to produce a series of Star Trek titles that included Star Trek TV shows (that were airing
at the time) and stories from timelines that were never explored before. The amazing thing is how, 30 years later, some of these titles have become new TV shows on the Paramount streaming network, like
Starfleet Academy and Strange New Worlds (Early Voyages).
10/21/25
I've been looking for comics I owned years ago but sold. Here are three "replacement" comics I recently got. The first is, the Human Fly #1.

In the late 1970's an artist named Marshall Rogers had an acclaimed run on Detective Comics featuring Batman. He along with writer Steve Englehart
created storylines that would influence both the 1989 movie Batman and the 1990's Batman: The Animated Series.
9/15/25
I didn't think I'd be able to get this set online but was lucky enough to check the Disney website and found they made the Fantastic Four set
available again. No need to ask Jordyn to buy me a set the next time she was near Disneyland.
7/25/25
Two glass updates today! The first is a Fantastic Four: First Steps Alamo Drafthouse Cinema exclusive! Normally, I would buy Alamo Drafthouse
glasses from a 3rd party as there were no Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas near by. However, in the last 6 months or so, two theaters opened up in the area, one in Mountain View and the other at the Valley Fair
Shopping Center in San Jose. The kids and I decided to check out the one in Mountain View and we were surprised by how nice the experience was. It also allowed me to purchase the glass from the source rather
than from a second hand vendor. The second glass I got is the 2024 Spider-Man PGCA (Promotional Glass Collectors Association) exclusive
made by Toon Tumblers for their annual meeting.
6/23/25

appearance of Lobo in Omega Men #3 (Jason Momoa is slated to play Lobo in the movie, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow), and
Punisher War Journal #1, & Red Sonja #1. If that weren't enough, here's a Loot Crate exclusive
Scarlet Witch glass!
1/30/25
Over the next few weeks I hope to include a number of comics I found stashed in my collection stored in the garage. To start, here are some Barry Windsor-Smith comics

in Marvel Premiere #47, the first issue of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars, and the

Finally motivated to clean up my comic book stash. Came across some books that have become very popular due to the emergence of superhero movies. Since they're more collectible, I decided to revamp
this site and include pictures of those books that have greater significance due to first appearances or scarcity due to age. I've included some of them here on Comics Page 1

here on a dedicated Star Trek Comic Book page.
