Back in the early 1990's, Toy Biz released Marvel action figures. Most came with accessories to expand playability, but a few had interesting abilities if the toy was put in the freezer. For instance, when the Invisible Woman was put in the freezer her color would change. She would start as her normal costumed self transforming to an all white variation (suggesting she had gone invisible). Unfortunately, the color change didn't work particularly well. In many cases the coloring was uneven with the torso turning white while the limbs remained the same. The Iceman had a different issue as he was molded in clear plastic and was supposed to turn blue. While this color change did work, there were instances when the toy would crack after freezing. Due to these issues, after the initial runs sold out neither toy was made available in their color changing variations again. Instead, the Invisible Woman was given an accessory (catapult), and the Iceman was simply molded in blue. As a result, the initial color change variations are in shorter supply compared to their secondary run counterparts.
