Connor's Twentieth Birthday

Mom and Dad drove down to San Diego from L.A. on Saturday to meet up with Connor to celebrate his 20th Birthday. They got into San Diego before lunch and dropped off some food and other goodies at his
house. Lunch was at a curry restaurant called the Curry Club that Connor saw on Instagram. After lunch they went grocery shopping at H-Mart and Ralph's. They also stopped off at Target for household stuff.
By mid-afternoon Mom and Dad checked into their hotel, and while they were there Connor opened his birthday gifts from all the grandparents, Jordyn, Tyler, Mom, and Dad. This year was a big Pokemon haul plus
he got a really nice Unrivaled Mist jersey featuring one of his favorite players, Li Yueru. For dinner they went to Press Box Sports Lounge where Connor had a steak and watched the Padres beat the Diamondbacks.

On Connor's real birthday, the 27th, Mom and Dad picked Connor up for brunch. Connor found Patty's Cafe on the internet because they served chocolate chip pancakes (his favorite). Patty's is a real
throw-back to the 1970's. It had dark wood paneled walls and earth tone colored chairs, booths, tables, and counters. The waitresses, wearing aprons, all used real paper guest check pads to take orders.
After their meal they brought Connor back to his house and said their good-byes. That evening, Connor and his 3 roommates had dinner together to celebrate Connor's birthday.
KFC and pizza always make for a great birthday dinner!
